The Orchard House: an oasis of beauty in the desert, perfect for any event.

 Yesterday I was lucky enough to visit The Orchard House located in Genoa, NV. Though I have lived in northern Nevada for almost 20 years and my work as a wedding planner has brought me to many venues, I had yet to view this beautiful wedding and event location. The Orchard House is in the center of the quaint town of Genoa, NV roughly 15 minutes from Carson City, 40 minutes from South Lake Tahoe, and one hour from Reno, situating it in easy driving distance from just about any where in the area.

Most of the year The Orchard House is the private residence of Randy and Betsy, but over the summer it transforms into an expanse of green lawn and a lush grove of trees ideal for any event. The property can be customized to fit a wide range of events from weddings with 300+ guests to intimate gatherings.

The trees are spaced throughout the large lawn area creating plenty of space for many different table configurations and shade during the day. This property provides the feel of a private estate without the exorbitant price that often comes with similar locations.

I can't wait to be involved in a wedding that takes place at this beautiful venue because not only will the photos be breathtaking and unique, but the space will be perfectly tailored to fit the couples desires.
