Rustic Ranch Wedding with Purple Accents at Old 1862 Ranch

Beautiful rustic ranch wedding at the historic Old 1862 Ranch just north of Reno, NV. The ranch was originally built in 1862 and many of the original buildings still remain.

To take full advantage of the large venue the couple encouraged guests to move around the property by focus items of interest all around the main house. The ceremony took place behind the ranch house under a large tree overlooking the surrounding fields and mountains. Cocktails were served near the barn tables to the left of the house. Dinner was served under a tent in the large grass space at the front of the property. Dancing took place right off the main porch and croquet and cornhole games were set up to the right of the house. This strategy allowed guests to really enjoy the property and have lots of fun.

Hand made wood wedding decor
Purple and sage lines adorned the tables. The groom's father hand crafted wooden decor in the shape of Nevada. Purple and green paper lanterns were strewn throughout the trees around the property.
Eclectic purple wedding decor
Each table had an eclectic mix of crystal candle stands, colored bottles, and wooden pieces to create a unique feel.

The bride hand made all of the bouquets and boutonnieres from decorative paper and ribbon.
